How Can Indoor Navigation Maps Help Businesses Attract More Customers

Imagine you are going out of town to negotiate and sign multi-million dollar contract. You are already late for your flight and now you cannot find you way around a large airport. Missing the flight is not an option as you stand to lose multi-million dollar sales opportunity. Wouldn’t it be nice to have a navigation map of the airport on your phone that tells you precisely where the departure gate of your flight is located and the fastest route to get there? Having such a map provided by the airport to the passengers not only helps them navigate and find the gate easily, but it also helps airport owners increase customer satisfaction and improve overall operations.

We have become increasingly reliant on maps to find our way around on the roads. This same navigation technology is now finding its way for indoor use. The indoor maps are being created and provided to customers for number of venues, including airports, malls, large offices, events, trade shows and so on. The ubiquity of smartphones and better indoor navigation technology is making it possible to provide precise location services.

How Cloud Solutions can Benefit Small Business

There are plenty of new technologies that your business stands to benefit from. Whether you use social media to connect to your customers or have an online storefront where you sell your goods, advancements made with tech has transformed the way people do business. That means that it is easier than ever for you to find practical solutions to some of the most common problems that your business faces. Exploring what cloud hosted VoIP can do for your business, for example, is a great way to begin your foray into the answers technology can uncover.

While you may have heard the benefits of going in the cloud, you also probably don’t have a full understanding of what this service does for you. This makes sense, as the concept is as simple as it is abstract. Take a moment to familiarize yourself with a few of the benefits that this service can bring and it can shed a bit of light on the subject for you.

Keep Space Open

Technology has come a long way in many senses. Only a few decades ago, computers took up incredible amounts of space. With each passing year, the equipment inside computers got smaller and smaller. Now, your phone is capable of handling more than those old goliaths ever could. With cloud technology, the same ideas apply. Storing and sharing files once required a certain amount of equipment. This machinery, of course, took up a certain amount of space. The beauty of cloud hosted VoIP is that it eliminates the need for any on-site equipment while providing storage and access to data.

Important Time Management Tips for Small Business Owners

If you are an entrepreneur starting a business, it may seem as though there are not enough hours in the day to complete all of your tasks. To complicate matters even more, every second that ticks on a clock represents money. So, the question is, are you earning money in your business or wasting it?

Does that sound scary? Well it should. Per Microsoft, it was discovered that small business owners only used around 60% of their day actually completing tasks to improve their profit margin. This means that if they worked a standard five-day week, they were only working on their business three days out of five. Take that information and apply it to your small business. How would you feel if you only made money 60% of the time while working on your business?

In reality, it is quite simple to waste time when you own a small business. Unless you have a plan in place for how you will spend your work hours, the time will go by quickly. The good news is that there are several tips you can use for better time management.

Organize Your Space

The easiest thing that you can do is keep your work space organized. It can be challenging to manage your time when your work space is chaotic. Recent studies have shown that over 40% of Americans consider themselves to be unorganized. This inorganization leads to them remaining at work late, at least one night a week. The good news is that there is something that can be done to eliminate it.
